Lion Bill Lundin
Board Chair

Bill is Chairman of the Board of Northwest Lions Foundation and as such a Director on the SightLife board. He has been involved with Northwest Lions Foundation/SightLife since 2001 and a member of the Foundation board continuously since 2004. Restoring Sight, Hope and Hearing is a passion.

He joined Lions International in the spring of 1997 and is a member of Hazel Dell Lions Club of Vancouver, WA. Bill enjoys the community involvement working and serving actively with his Lions club, District, and Multiple District. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow and has received the International President’s Certificate of Appreciation along with many club, council, and district awards.

Bill has more than 45 years of transportation experience in operations, sales, marketing, and safety/risk management. He has twice helped his company earn Safety Carrier of the Year in their class, and has been honored as an Oregon “Safety Director of the Year”. This recognition is presented for personal dedication improving the Safety of our nation’s highways and work places. He enjoys the challenge of creating positive corporate safety cultures and influencing highway, workplace and personal safety.

Bill also serves the Lions Sight Foundation of Clark County as Past Chairman and its current Vice-Chair. He is a Director on the board of Walk and Knock, a non-profit Clark County Foundation of Service clubs sponsoring the largest annual food drive west of Colorado. Bill has served on the boards of the Oregon Trucking Association and Hazel Dell Lions Foundation. He is also active in their local grange hall serving as president and is a third-year director of the Clark County Pomona Grange.

Bill and wife Linda were born and raised in Seattle where they married in 1968. They have lived and worked in Seattle, Spokane, and Vancouver, Washington, during his career in transportation. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Bill and Linda enjoy family, travel, camping, square dancing, and the opportunity to serve their community.
